Intramural Program Overview

The primary goals of FC Montco’s intramural soccer program are to promote and foster a love of soccer, while teaching basic soccer skills in a fun, positive environment. We emphasize skill development, sportsmanship, and teamwork.

  • Pee Wees, Juniors, and our U8 division play at Arcola Middle School.
  • For older age groups we may partner with other local clubs, which may require travel to Royersford, Whitpain, or the Perkiomen Valley area, in addition to games at Heebner Park.

Coaches: We Need YOU!

Volunteer coaches are a vital part of the intramural soccer experience. To help assist coaches and provide the best experience for our players, we provide pre-season coaches meetings and trainings as well as handout materials to help guide coaches through their practices and games.

All intramural head coaches will receive a full refund of their players registration fees. That's right—your kid plays for FREE!

All coaches MUST comply with the volunteer clearance requirements mandated by Pennsylvania state law.

Program Descriptions

At the youngest ages, through our Pee Wees and Juniors programs, we establish the fundamentals of the game in a safe, fun environment. As children age through the program, more advanced concepts are introduced, commensurate with the level of play.

At U7 through U9, players have the opportunity to begin bridging into the more advanced travel program through our Director's Development Program (DDP). Players who remain in the travel program see increasing levels of recreational play and development as they progress through the older age groups.

The following table describes the intramural programs available at each age group. Age groups not listed are incorporated with the next older age group listed. For example, U7 players are included in the U8 age group.
