Going Out On Top

Over 11 years ago, a group of Methacton United 6 and 7 year-olds won the DELCO Championships and celebrated with a "dog-pile" at midfield. Years later, with plenty of league, tournament and game wins on their resume, but more importantly a decade long bond as players and friends, 22 young men finished their careers as State Cup Champions!

As they go on to college and their futures, we wish them and all the others teammates that played along the way the best in all they do.

Thanks to the Club, Trainers and Coaches for supporting all of the team's past achievements. Go Fusion!

May 5, 2019: Final Home Game for Methacton Fusion!

May 2019 - Sunday, May 5, 2019 at 5:15pm come out to the Methacton High School Auxiliary Field to cheer on our very own Methacton Fusion as they play in a semi-finals state cup game.

This is an end of an era for the Fusion. They started with the club as U-8s and this will be their final season with the club as they age out.

The Fusion have many accomplishments over the years;

  • The team started as U-8s in MUSC and that year they won DELCO league playing up in the U-9 age bracket.
  • Went on to win or finish as runner up in DELCO 7 of the next 10 years.
  • Finished as champs or co-champs in DELCO as U-16s and U-17s and runner-up as U-18s.
  • The Fusion won or finished as runner up in approximately 15 tournaments.
  • Consistently ranked in the Top 15 for Pennsylvania over the last 5 years and currently ranked #15 in PAE.
  • In U-19 Cups, the Fusion have made it to the Semi-Finals by winning their bracket and not giving up a goal.

Please come out and support the Fusion for their final game!

Delco Division 1 Champions!

CHAMPIONS!

Congratulations to our U15 Fusion boys, who won the Delco Division 1 Final on Sunday, beating the Ukranian Nationals Chornomorets Red team, 1-0. The win capped off a stellar season for the Fusion, who also won the Division 1 regular season title with a 7-0-1 record (21 pts).

With their final win in 2015, the Fusion boys marked three consecutive years appearing in their Delco division finals: U13 D4 (2013), U14 D4 (2014), and this year as U15 D1 champions.

Great work, boys! We look forward to seeing what your U16 season brings!

Gettysburg Blast U15 Champions

August 30, 2015—Congratulations to the U15 Fusion boys, who went undefeated (5-1-0) in winning the Battlefield Blast in Gettysburg, PA this weekend. Their grueling Saturday schedule saw them play four games, winning three and drawing one, followed by a a 2-0 Sunday, all against top teams from Pennsylvania and Maryland.

The boys put forth a total team effort, starting in the back with a strong defense, controlling the midfield with possession soccer, and plenty of scoring.

Their tournament success mirrors their fast start in the Delco regular season, where they have opened 2-0, scoring 11 goals and allowing none.
