William Bonewitz, Head Coach, U15 Premier Boys' Team

Bill comes to Methacton United Premier with over 33 years of coaching experience. His career started in EPYSA at the U6 level and worked for the next 12 years at every level up to U18 boys. During that time, he founded an independent premier team--Surburban Storm--at the U16 level with the purpose of preparing boys for college. Sixteen of those went on to play collegiate soccer with 2 advancing to NCAA finals and one winning a D3 title.

His collegiate career followed with two years as a men's assistant coach at Ursinus College before founding Ursinus's first women's program and heading the team for eight seasons. He then became the women's head coach at Alvernia University and holds the records for most career wins and most wins in a season. Bill was awarded the Commonwealth Conference coach of the year in 2010 and coached two Regional All-Americans during his time there. He then spent one season as the head recruiter and assistant coach at Rosemont College before retiring from the collegiate arena.

Bill attended the University of Connecticut and is a Vietnam Veteran.

Ed Corcoran, Assistant Coach, U15 Premier Boys' Team

Ed began playing soccer at an early age with Harleysville's travel program.  He earned 1st team all-league/state status in high school as a center midfielder, while gaining some international exposure at the club level. Ed attended Ursinus College, earning a starting position on the squad. He began coaching youth soccer in the spring of 2015 and still plays in a men's league. Ed works as an account manager in the pharmaceutical industry.
