Sept. 22, 2018 -- In their second league match of the season, the Flash faced off against a talented White Clay SC Cougars squad in Landenberg, Pa.

The Cougars opened play with a quick goal and dominated possession early, having the look of team that might run away with the game. But thanks to strong play in goal by Charlie, including a pair of diving saves, and sturdy defense by Colin, Grayson and Joey, the Flash steadied themselves and kept the Cougars off the scoreboard for the remainder of the half.

The Flash began building some offensive momentum toward the end of the first half, and it carried over into the second half, as Cody banged home a feed from Grayson to knot the game at 1-1. However, the Cougars were not to be denied on this day, scoring two more goals en route to a 3-1 victory.

The Flash will take on Phoenixville SC in their home opener Sept. 29, followed by Nether United FC Black on Sunday.
