Danny Kuntz
Birthplace: Mesa, Arizona
Licenses: USSF Grassroots, E License

Danny began playing soccer at age two in Southern California, spending his childhood in small-sided games with friends and homemade goals. His love for the game runs deep — his grandfather played professionally for Atlante in Mexico before founding one of the first soccer clubs in Southwestern Arizona, and both his father and uncle are lifelong coaches.

Danny started coaching while playing in college at Apex Soccer Club and now works with players through club teams, one-on-one, and small-group technical training in the Philadelphia area.

As a coach, Danny is passionate about helping players break through barriers, build confidence, and turn challenges into strengths. He believes in being a teacher first — especially when the pressure is highest.

Outside of soccer, Danny is a distance runner with seven marathons completed. He lives in Flourtown, PA with his three young daughters and a very busy household.

Philadelphia Union Technical Staff

FC Montco is a Platinum Affiliate Club with the Philadelphia Union. Union trainers assist our full-time training staff with weekly training sessions, bringing player development within the Philadelphia Union environment to our players and coaches.
